For almost half a century, VCON (Est. 1971) was part of British Columbia’s speculative fiction history.
Now, VCON is back!
This will be a one-day convention for fans of speculative fiction and games focused on fandom, creativity, and community.
Our theme — Pick Your Punk: Living Through the 21st Century — invites us all to come explore the futures we fear, the futures we hope for, and the weird, scrappy, inventive worlds that we build along the way. Whether it’s cyberpunk, solarpunk, steampunk, dieselpunk, hopepunk, biopunk, stitchpunk, nanopunk, lunarpunk, or any other “punk”, bring us your goggles, your circuits, your seedlings, your cautionary tales, and your visionary futures.
